Coaching Employees for Improvement

Coaching employees is a skill a good manager has in their toolbox.   This tool is about working to improve, enhance and help the employee to be their best.  Use it with new hires, employees taking on new responsibilities and for early intervention for a person who has dropped in performance.    Coaching can be your foundational tool when interacting with your team members

“Collaborate for effective employee coaching” by The Manager’s Intelligence Report on Managebetter.biz.

Coaching is a powerful tool in managing employees.   Why?   It allows the employees to take responsibility for the results.  In turn, you as the manager, are able to focus on the business.  Yes, it takes time to coach each employee, yet it also takes time to micromanage, fix mixtakes or put out fires.   Coaching sets the tone for a respectful work partnership between you and the employees.

Be well,

Pat
