Technology offers alot more flexibility and employees used either company’s tools or their own to do business. Laptops, smartphones and tablets are all used in the workplace today. So how do you protect company data when employees are using portable devices to do business in different environments?

Review your work environment, analyze where you are vulnerable and then formulate a policy to provide to protect company assets. The policy has to be for everyone in the organization as hackers are becoming more organized each day and they have the tools to break through vulnerable environments.
After creating your mobile device policy, communicate to the employees in several different ways. Variety and repetition are key components to a successful launch of a new policy.
