Managing Remote Employees
Technology has made it easier for employees to work from their homes. It’s a great way to expand your pool of talent as employees don’t have to be close to your office. It’s a great perk for employees as they enjoy the quality of life as they cut out commuting time. In large cities, such as New York, commuting time can easily be at least one hour. A great perk for a strong performer.
Yet you still have to manage these employees and how do you do it?

The post addresses some main supports you need in place in order to insure that you and your employees are productive and meet the deliverables for the success of the business.
The biggest issue I’ve seen in virtual environments is communication. Actually, communication issues happen even in brick and mortar work environments. It’s easy to forget, until you need a deliverable, a remote employee. You can’t do this…even with strong performers.

Be well,
Pat
