Where do you stand as a manager…are you clear around your values when managing employees?  You have to know what is important and insure that each of your team members are aware of it.

On startupsmart.com, by Tom McKaskill and Michelle Hammond is the article “10 Keys to Managing People.”

What you want is a consistent approach to these interactions and decisions. That can only happen if the values underpinning the business are understood, agreed and widely implemented. (read more)

Like any skill set or knowledge we acquire in life, it takes some time to go from beginner to well versed in the subject.    If you take one of the author’s points and implement it for the next 30 days, you will increase not only your knowledge but will see change in your employees.
