The first 45 days sets into motion the attitude and performance of each person.
It’s more difficult to change a negative attitude then to create a positive one.
Throughout the process of recruiting, interviewing and hiring, you have the opportunity to impress the candidate. After you hire the candidate, you need to have in place a “strong process” that continues to impress the employee.
Positive impressions go both ways…employee and employer. If you want the employee to feel they own a piece of the company, then impress them with insuring they have the tools, training and integrate them with the other team members.
